Gathered Bust Swimsuit
This design is great for both those with a larger and smaller bust line. The thoughtful gathers and seam structure are designed to flatter and tastefully accentuate a female figure. With a conservative cut at the legs, this swimsuit offers full coverage.
One Shoulder Swimsuit
This design is one of my favorites. The asymmetrical silhouette has complementary ruching that keeps the eye moving on to an angled, one shouldered top that continues the eye upwards to the face. The strap continues diagonally across the back to the opposite shoulder for full support.
Pleated Bow Swimsuit
This ultra feminine swimsuit is the perfect mix of girly and classy. A pleated bust line that continues in a band around the back of the suit, adds structure and coverage (and who can resist pleats?) While a draped bow softens and contrasts the straight lines of the pleats.
Semi Peplum Swimsuit
Another favorite, this waist-seamed swimsuit features slight ruching on the tank, creating a semi-sweetheart neckline. But the real interest is in the fluttered peplum-ish detail at the right-side waist. Ending at the side seam, this detail adds a bit of thoughtful styling to an otherwise conservative swimsuit.
Silk Shorts
These shorts are perfect for summer in every way, when paired with a soft cotton T. The flirty bow lends to a flattering curve in the hem of the short, while the front darts and waistband complete a polished, yet relaxed look. Creating them in silk nods to simple luxury and a deliberate addition to the interest of textile drape.
Box Pleated Trousers
These mid-rise trousers are designed for a light weight, spring suiting fabric. Both sophisticated and high impact, box pleats are sewn just below the hip-line to eliminate bulk and open above the knee to create a dynamic drape and flow movement when walking. A slim belt accentuates narrowing at the waistline and adds a polished look to break up the wide waist band.
Grecian Formal Dress
This Grecian inspired dress would look stunning as a beach wedding dress, or in a soft hue as a formal gown. The sweetheart neckline is made even sweeter with a romantic sheer overlay, gathered and attached to a floating collar which ties at the shoulder in a structured, yet delicate bow.
Sunburst Wedding Dress with Godet
This is my favorite project that I am currently constructing! I found a soft, buttery-ivory, spring suiting fabric with a luxurious drape that will both hold the top section of the sunburst pleating and flow in the bottom section. To insure the flawless look of the gown, a simple v-neckline and kimono sleeve were drafted. A slight V on the back neckline works with the inverted V of the godet to create a flattering, narrowing effect. For interest and a little bit of glamorous drama, I found a gorgeous sheer lace fabric to overlay over the light suiting fabric on the godet train.
